Our Dogs Nanny has been responsible for the care of many of Alexandria's finest canines since 2001. We are a local, privately owned dog care company servicing Old Town Alexandria, Belle Haven, and the Fort Hunt area. Our Dogs Nanny, LLC and our employees are fully insured and bonded, and all of our "nannies" have passed comprehensive background checks.
"It takes a village to raise a dog, and we are your village."
The mid-day walk is a great way to break up your dog's day. To be able to get outside, not only to go to the bathroom, but to stretch his/her legs and catch up on the “local news” is good for their doggie minds. During the "meet and greet", needs can be discussed and the walker can discuss any solutions. It also gives your dog and their walker a chance to get to know each other, giving both your dog and you peace of mind. Services are set at competitive prices; please contact Jill for more information. Other services are available upon request.

"My 'Mom' is typing this for me because I do not have thumbs, and typing is hard for me. As you have probably guessed, I love you lots. You take me to the park and walk me and even train me so I am a good doggie. Actually you have had great success with me, what with working in the hospital, going to obedience trials and winning, and playing nicely with all my friends. Mom is really happy I have you! I know it is not easy because I am a PWD, very popular and extremely handsome, but you are able to handle me and do so expertly. So if any other dog is considering using you for walks or "baby" sitting, all I can say is they would be lucky to have you. I know I am." --Zeke Guarraia
Jill began walking dogs as a sole proprietor in 2001. Over the years, she expanded the business and hired her first employee, eventually growing to our current team size. With an extensive background in veterinary medicine and dog training, she brings substantial experience to your dog's care and shares that expertise with all Our Dogs Nanny (ODN) team members.
ODN employees conduct a "meet and greet" with each client to understand the specific needs of both the owner and their dog. Once details are finalized, the dog is added to the schedule via our mobile portal. We ensure that clients receive direct and frequent updates regarding their dog's care.

I have a very shy dog and Jillian took the time to meet our dog and pair her up with a wonderful dog walker who took time to get to know Gus and let our dog get comfortable with her. It was incredible to see our shy, timid dog, who has run from other walkers, joyfully greet her dog walker and be excited for the outing. Jillian hires caring professionals and is always interested in how satisfied we are with the services. I also appreciate her use of technology with the efficient billing system and daily dog walk updates sent to my email. I would highly recommend Our Dog's Nanny. --"Gussies" Mom
